OHSAS atau singkatan dari Occupational Health and Safety Assesment Series, adalah suatu standard internasional untuk menjalankan suatu sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Lingkungan Kerja diperusahaan. Dimana keuntungan dari penerapan OHSAS 18001 adalah : terintegrasi dengan sistem manajemen lain (ISO 9000 & ISO 14000), meminimalisasi resiko, meningkatkan performa bisnis dan meningkatkan citra perusahaan.

Pada tanggal 1 Juli 2007, telah terbit standard baru OHSAS 18001:2007 yang menggantikan OHSAS 18001:1999. Untuk itu perusahaan atau organisasi yg sudah menerapkan dan mendapatkan sertifikasi OHSAS 18001:1999 wajib mengupgradenya ke OHSAS 18001:2007 paling lambat 1 Juli 2009. Perusahaan yang sudah mendapatkan sertifikat OHSAS 18001:1999 dan ingin mengupgradenya ke OHSAS 18001:2007 penting untuk mengikuti training ini, begitu pula bagi perusahaan atau organisasi yang ingin menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Kesehatan & Keselamatan Kerja berdasarkan OHSAS 18001:2007.

He has experienced in Occupational Health& Safety and Industrial Hygiene for almost 30 years. He was graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University in 1979 and Master of Science in Occupational Medicine, University of Indonesia in 2004. He started his career as Occupational Health practicioner at PT. Ekspan Kalimantan, he later became Chief Medical Officer and then Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene Coordinator at PT. Medco Energy. His Expertise and experienced give him a very broad perspectives in handling any issues related to Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene.
