The HAZOP Technique is a widely used method of identifying hazards and operability problems, providing the foundation for the risk assessment process. HAZOP can reduce pre and post start-up modifications and improve productivity and product quality. On this hazops courses, the trainers are underpinned by syndicate exercises.
HAZOPS TRAINING OBJECTIVES
The courses are intended to:
1. Give an appreciation of the risk management process to position HAZOP within that process
2. Provide an in-depth understanding and experience of the various HAZOP techniques and their correct application
HAZOPS COURSE CONTENTS
• Introduction and course objectives
• Basic introduction to the risk assessment process
• Different hazard identification techniques
• Hazard & Operability Study: Basic Concept & Methodology, Terminology
• The role of the chairman, secretary and the team members
• Risk ranking at the HAZOP study
• HAZOP process in detail including the follow-up and review process
• Detailed look at the HAZOP process
• Introduction to technique for procedural HAZOP
• Procedural HAZOP exercise including discussion of results
• HAZOP actions/recommendations and HAZOP reports
• Introduction to the HAZOP 2 technique
• Advantages and disadvantages of the HAZOP technique
• Pointers for effective HAZOPs
• Course review including question and answer session
HAZOPS Workshop using software PHA 6 / HAZOPS Software
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Courses are aimed at managers, designers, plant operators, safety specialists and all those concerned with the safe and efficient performance of potentially hazardous Plant and operations.

Berpengalaman di bidang Occupational Health & Safety dan Environment selama lebih dari 35 tahun. Pernah menjabat sebagai EHS Manager, Marketing and Trading Pertamina. Saat ini aktif dalam memberikan training dan konsultasi dalam bidang Occupational Health & Safety dan Environment di berbagai perusahaan. Klien yang pernah beliau tangani diantaranya Kondur Petroleum,BP Migas,Indonesia Power,Nippon Shokubai, Pertamina, Telkom, Blue Scope Steel. Beliau pernah menjabat sebagai Ketua Ikatan Ahli K3 Indonesia (IAKKI) sekaligus Ketua Penyusunan Standard Kompetensi K3 Indonesia. Pendidikan formal beliau adalah Teknik Kimia, selain itu juga mendapatkan gelar Dipl. Safety dari British Safety Council, serta Graduate of Safety Management Universitas Indonesia. Beliau juga adalah Lead Auditor OHSAS 18001 dan ISO 14001.
